ROBERT FOREST 1782-1861

Epsom College, Surrey, asked me to explore the life of Robert Forest who was a benefactor of the Royal Medical Benevolent College, which became Epsom College. There is a boy's House named after Forest at the school. I was able to establish the details of Forest's business dealings in Lambeth between 1828 and his retirement in 1855. I was also able to shed some light on his earlier dealings as a property and lease holder. I established his marriage and that there were no surviving children. His grave/monument in Norwood cemetery was no longer standing, totally destroyed, and I could find no image of the man. The case is not closed as I will continue to follow all available leads.
